David H. Speegle, another of our old and respectable citizens, died at his residence in Beat 5, Tuesday evening. He had been in declining health for several years. He was noted for his truthfulness and strict honesty; a legacy of which his descendants may well feel proud. But a few weeks ago he followed his daughter Emma to her last resting place in the city cemetery, we presume that was his last visit to town. To his bereaved family and friends we tender our warmest sympathy, and hope their loss may be his eternal gain.
