Eld. W.W. Davis, of near Biler, one of the pioneer preachers in the Clear Creek Baptist Association died at his home recently. He was a prominent figure in religious and political bodies of this county, and the county mourns his departure. The Herald’s editor has several times enjoyed the hospitality of his comfortable home and deeply sympathizes with the bereaved family.
