Murray Ingle
Murray Ingle was born about 1838. He, along with his brothers, John and Robert Milburn Ingle, were rounded up by the Alabama Partisan Rangers and taken to Jasper, Alabama along with hundreds of other men and forced to join Co. A, 13th Alabama Partisan Rangers, CSA on September 6, 1862. By the time the regiment left for Columbus, MS on October 31, 1862, they were shown as deserters. Murray had enlisted in the 1st AL Cav. USA on September 25, 1863. He married Sarah Catherine Fry in 1860 and had two daughters. After Robert Milburn "Doc" Ingle deserted the CSA, he joined Co. A, 1st Mississippi Mounted Rifles, USA on December 30, 1863.
