Hood October 11, 1850 in Gilmer Co., GA. and had the following children: Mary J., born July 20, 1851, married March 24, 1878 to Willaim Smith; Malinda C., born January 24, 1853, married September 21, 1873 to James M. Lumpkins; John Daniel, born October 28, 1854, married Harriet A. Grinnell and Mary E. Baugus, died May 1, 1912 in Fresno, CA; Nancy Caroline, born January 18, 1857, died December 24, 1858 in Double Springs, AL; William W., born January 10, 1859, married Bettie Smith and V. Elizabeth Smith; Thomas J., born February 18, 1861, married November 17, 1881 to F.L.J. "Lufatha" Smith; James M., born November 5, 1862, married May 24, 1888 to Mary L. Fleeman; Richard Sherman, born June 11, 1866, married December 24, 1890 to Eula Lee Jordon, died July 1, 1952 in Lawrenceburg, TN; Sarah Ann, born March 1, 1868, married March 11, 1891 to W.F. "Frank" Wall; Andrew Benjamin, born February 5, 1870, died January 11, 1887; Christopher Columbus "Lum", born January 18, 1872, married August 10, 1892 to Sallie L. Crook, died June 13, 1952; Josiah M. "Mannie", born January 26, 1874, married December 1898 to Emma A. "Lena" McLean; Jonah M.L.F., born January 18, 1876, married December 28, 1898 to Susie McLean. Lewis Kelley died March 11, 1922 in Lawrence Co., TN.
