Notes:
Tillman S Boyd was born on 18 February 1842. He was the brother of Doctor Tandy Boyd. His brother-in-law, William P Ramey, also served in Co. K of the 1st Alabama Cavalry, USV.
In December 1863, Tillman and his brother D. Boyd walked 150 miles from Walker Walker Co., AL to Camp Davies, MS to enlist.
His pension record stated that he was captured by the Rebels at Solomon Grove, NC and was forced to walk barefoot in the snow 200 miles from Monroe's Crossroads to Richmond, VA.
Tillman never maried and died 16 May 1915. He is buried at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Blount Co., AL.
